How to get FYI set up to work with Cradle

Setup

Setting up Cradle to work with FYI is very simple. Follow the following steps to get FYI set up to work with Cradle.

Log into the Cradle admin website, and click on Settings -> Integrations on the left hand menu

In the FYI section, follow the FYI Integrations page link to find your Access ID and Secret

Copy the secret (before clicking Done), return to the Cradle admin site, and paste the secret into the box labelled FYI Access Secret.

Return to the FYI tab you have open, click done, and then copy the Access Key ID. Return to Cradle, and paste the value into the FYI Access ID box.

Click Connect to FYI.

You're all done! Cradle and FYI are now connected.

What do you see?

All FYI Clients and Contacts will be available in Cradle, and you can search for people using their name, company name etc. If a call comes in, you'll see FYI contact information on the Cradle in-call screen, and you can click on the client's name to see their details directly in FYI.

After you finish a call, you will see a log against the client in FYI. This will contain a transcription of the recorded portion of your conversation, a summary of the call, and a link to listen back to it.

NOTE: the features below are in BETA and are subject to change or withdrawal. They may be dependent on beta features from FYI as well.

FYI Elite users can set up automations to make the most of these call logs. These automations can:

  • Create draft timesheet entries based on call length and user.
  • Create tasks based on the contents of the conversation.
  • Write follow up emails to clients recapping conversations
  • Create tasks for client managers when there has been no contact in a set period of time
