Where admin tasks live
Quick reference for where common Cradle admin tasks happen, and who to ask if you're not an admin yourself.
The Cradle desktop app is where you make and receive calls. Anything that changes how Cradle behaves across your team (users, numbers, routing, billing) lives in the admin portal at admin.cradle.io, not the desktop app.
If you're not an admin yourself, the answer to "where do I do X?" is almost always "ask whoever runs Cradle at your organisation". This page is the cheat sheet.

Who's your Cradle admin?
The person who first invited you to Cradle. Often that's an office manager, an operations lead, or someone in IT. If you don't know, ask the person you reported to when you started, they'll know who owns the phones.
What admins can't do themselves
A few things need Cradle support to action, even if you're an admin:
- Porting a number in or out (your admin starts the paperwork, our team runs it).
- Enabling SMS on a specific Cradle number.
- Enabling a new country for outbound calling.
- Anything regulatory (caller ID compliance, blocked-number requests, emergency routing questions).
In each of those cases, an admin emails help@cradle.io and we take it from there.
