Setting up your team in Cradle

Invite new users, assign licences, and configure ring groups for your team.

1. Invite your team

Open the admin portal and head to Users. Click** Invite user** for each new teammate.

  • Enter their name and email.
  • Choose a licence (Starter, Standard, or Premium).
  • Optionally assign a direct-dial phone number.

2. Create ring groups

Ring groups let multiple people answer the same incoming call. Under Call routing, create a group and add team members.

Most accounting firms route their main number to a 'Reception' ring group during business hours, then to voicemail after-hours.

3. Set business hours

Business hours control when calls ring through to your team and when they go to voicemail. Set them per timezone if your team spans regions.

Tip

If you're porting an existing number, finish team setup first — that way new numbers route correctly the moment porting completes.
